Thank you for being a great calculus teacher under stressful circumstances. I know that you were sort of thrust into the calculus spot when Mr. Hoj passed and that over the summer and even currently you attended calculus courses at a community college to refresh your memory and to be able to better teach us. I also understand how difficult AP classes are to teach for the first time. So, I wanted to thank you for being able to accommodate all of these in your schedule and still be a great math teacher.

In my photography class this year, two of my favorite photos that I have taken are shown below.

The first picture was for an assignment called Forced Perspective where we placed a toy or another small object close to the camera and a larger object or a person further away. Putting them both along the same horizon line creates the illusion that they are the same size. The other photo was from the beginning of the year for an assignment called High Shutter Speed where the shutter of the camera opens and closes very quickly, allowing to take pictures in a small time frame. For example, this picture was taken at 1/4000th of a second.

Jack, thank you for your kind words!

Working with you and the other AP students is hugely rewarding, and yes... a little bit stressful. ❤️
